Aishwarya Rai Bachchan ensures daughter Aaradhya is very much a part of practically everything she does. And when it is time for Ganesh Chaturthi, how can Aaradhya miss out on something so important?
The mother-daughter duo were seen at the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at GSB Seva Mandal in Mumbai’s Kings Circle area. Aishwarya and Aaradhya were accompanied by the actress’ mother Vrinda and brother Aditya. Aaradhya was seen performing Bappa’s aarti with mother Aishwarya.
Dressed in a white salwar-kameez, the actress was a picture of cool among so many people. Even little Aaradhya seemed to have learnt to cope with all the attention and looked cute as a button in a yellow and pink ghagra choli. Aishwarya was seen explaining the rituals to Aaradhya.
Doting grandfather Amitabh Bachchan had earlier told media that Aaradhya knows Gayatri mantra and even Ganesh aarti. She apparently is a pro at making modaks — traditional Ganeshotsav sweets — as well. She apparently makes modaks with mom and grandmother Vrinda.
Not just that, Big B had said Aaradhya is getting good at aping dance moves. The 73-year-old actor said Aaradhya often “quite cutely (demonstrates), some of my dance moves that she has noticed on TV.”
On the work front, Aishwarya has wrapped Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The actress will be seen along with Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan in the film. Aishwarya is playing a poet in the film. It is Diwali release and will clash with Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay at the box office.
