Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa season 9: Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi evicted

“It was great fun being a part of the show. I go back with a bag full of new acquaintances and a new found love for dance. It is not only a form of entertainment, but also a great stress buster,” Harpal told IANS.

“And above all, it helps you burn off those calories. So my advice to everyone is, go ahead and dance your heart out, so that you get to gorge on delicious food without any hesitation,” he added.

The show features filmmaker Karan Johar, actress Jacqueline Fernandez and choreographer Ganesh Hegde as judges.

Post Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa, Harpal has a lot of things lined up.

“I have three restaurants lined up for opening. My cookware brand Happy Chef has just launched and we are planning a lot of events around it. I would love to do even a food show with Colors,” he said.

After Harpal’s eviction, the contestants left on the show include actors Sidhant Gupta, Arjun Bijlani, Helly Shah, Karishma Tanna, Nora Fatehi, Surveen Chawla and Shakti Arora, and ace choreographer Salman Yusuff Khan.

Harpal feels that Surveen should win the show.

“All of them are exceptional. But if I have to choose, I probably see Surveen winning the contest,” he said.
