Rajinikanth watches Kabali with fans in US, gets standing ovation, see pics

Happily for Rajinikanth fans, the reviews coming in from the US were all good. “#Kabali USA Review: Movie is a Paisa Vasool for #Thalaivar Fans.. Lot of Goose bump moments.. Theater ‘ll explode several time with applause. [sic],” industry insider Ramesh tweeted about the early response from the US.

However, a two-minute video said to be Kabali’s opening scene landed online and soon went viral. The video is likely to have been pirated while the film’s screening was going on. Earlier, there was news that Rajinikanth-starrer had leaked on to Dark Web.

Directed by Pa. Ranjith, the film also stars Radhika Apte, Kishore, Dinesh, Kalaiarasan, Dhansikaa, Ritwika and Winston Chao. Rajinikanth plays a don who fights for Tamils in Malaysia in the film, which is releasing worldwide on Friday.

The Tamil film is set to make a record-breaking collection as the advance booking is all full and demand for tickets is unprecedented. Kabali is expected to earn over Rs 100 Crore in three days. The movie has already earned Rs 200 crore with the sale of music and satellite rights etc.
