Union Minister for Human Resources Development Prakash Javadekar honoured educationists and teachers at a function in Fergusson College here Sunday. Recalling the contribution of his own teachers in adding value to his life, the minister urged teachers to make education interesting and not dragging. He said the quality of education could be improved only if teachers decided to do so.
Javadekar said teachers should encourage students to dream big and impart life skills. He said teachers would be appreciated for their good work and accountability would be introduced in the education system.
