Tigmanshu Dhulia’s next on Indian National Army trials

Tigmanshu Dhulia launched his new project Raag Desh on July 3 in Mumbai.

Filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia, who is known for films like Bullet Raja and Shagird to name a few, launched his new project Raag Desh on July 3 in Mumbai. The film is based on Indian National Army trials. Actors Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh and Mohit Marwah will be seen playing the major characters in the film.

Sujay Shankarwar, MD of Tigmanshu Dhulia films, said, “This was a great opportunity to showcase the real heroes of pre independence and independence era …….I feel we have forgotten a very important event in the freedom struggle and also feel that it is important for the new generation to know and realise the efforts and sacrifices of our forefathers to achieve India’s independence.”

Renowned directors like Raj Kumar Santoshi, Vishal Bhardwaj, Ketan Mehta, Shahad Ali, Sudhir Mishra and Subhash Kapoor were also present at the event. The event was hosted by the lyricist Manoj Muntashir.
