Purab Kohli wraps up Rock On 2!! shoot with a song at the Gateway of India

“Rock on 2 yes, has finally come to an end after a long stint. When you all see the film you will get to know why the shooting was spread out so much. We finished shooting last week and what a lovely way of wrapping the shoot at the Gateway of India. I think people should really look out for that song, it is going to be a smashing success this year. Actually, it’s my personal favorite song and I hope people will love it too. I think it was really symbolic for us to finish our shoot at the Gateway of India, I don’t think there was any film shot there in recent time,” Purab said.

Along with Purab, Rock On 2 brings back the earlier cast of 2008 film Rock On including Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and Prachi Desai. Shraddha Kapoor is a valuable addition to the cast in the sequel along with Titli actor Shashank Arora who will be seen in a supporting role.

The movie has been produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. The musical trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have composed the music of the film and is directed by Shujaat Saudagar.
