With result between Belgium and Great Britain going in India’s favour, the Roelant Oltmans managed side would take on Australia in the Champions Trophy final in London – their first ever in the competition. India’s previous best finish in the competition has been a bronze medal in 1982.

Now India will definitely improve their showing and many would hope that the medal, in the run up to the 2016 Rio Olympics, is a shiny yellow one.
