In a patchy game, Romania and Switzerland shared the spoils after a 1-1 draw. Romania took the lead in the 18th minute from the penalty spot through Bogdan Stancu before Switzerland pulled back courtesy Admir Mehmedi in the second half. In the grand scheme of things, both will be content with the draw.
