Amitabh Bachchan is extremely gung-ho when it comes to being part of technological innovations. So, it wasn’t surprising to see the megastar immensely enjoying himself while unveiling coaching institute MT Educare’s new teaching app, Robomate, in an augmented reality session in front of a packed live audience, mainly comprising young school and college students.
Apparently, it was a challenge even for an actor of Amitabh’s stature to pick up the threads of augmented reality. To make sure his actions were in-sync with the technology during his live performance, Big B burnt the midnight oil the previous night, practising the finer aspects of his act to perfection.
On the day of the launch, The TE3N actor arrived 6 hours before the slated launch time and rehearsed 20 times before finally walking onto the stage. And he pulled the whole event off with finesse.
The emotional person that he is, Amitabh fondly remembered his teachers and emphasised on importance of educating each child in India, before unveiling the app.
