Filmmaker Apoorva Lakhia says he is not aware of any recent developments on his upcoming biopic on underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena.

There were reports that Shraddha Kapoor has replaced Sonakshi Sinha to star in the titular role in “Haseena — The Queen of Mumbai”. The “Baaghi” star will reportedly undergo a lot of prosthetics for the role which requires her to age from 20 to 60 years.

While Sonakshi had previously stated that she was yet to take a call on the biopic, according to reports she opted out of the project due to date issues.

When asked if Shraddha has replaced the “Dabangg” actress, Apoorva said, “I know as much as you. I will let you know when I know. I am clueless.”

“Haseena — The Queen of Mumbai” will depict the emotional saga of the underworld don’s sister.

Lakhia had previously said the film is on track and everyone in the team has liked the subject.

Shraddha is currently shooting for “Ok Jaanu” which is scheduled to release on January 13, 2017.
