Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and entertainment company Lionsgate are reportedly developing a movie about Dr Henry Jekyll.
Jeff Kleeman will produce the feature film adaptation along with DeGeneres through their A Very Good Production banner, reported Aceshowbiz.
The film is adapted from BBC One’s 2007 six-episode series “Jekyll” which was written by “Doctor Who” famed scribe Steven Moffat.
The BBC One series was described as a sequel to the Robert Louis Stevenson novella “Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde”.
Dr Jekyll will also be brought to the big screen by Universal. Russell Crowe has been tapped to play the role in “The Mummy” remake starring Tom Cruise.
