Sachin Tendulkar accepted IOA’s proposal to become Indian contingent’s Goodwill Ambassador for Rio Olympics. The subject has been engulfed in controversy ever since IOA had announced Salman Khan as the Ambassador. Since then there have been numerous views and counter-views on using Salman as an Ambassador. Besides Tendulkar, Abhinav Bindra has also been roped in with musician AR Rahman yet to accept the offer.
