Indo-US based venture capital fund Nexus Venture Partners has elevated KG Subramanian as its Managing Director – Finance and Operations and CFO for India.
KGS is based in Mumbai and will assume responsibilities for the portfolio and exit management and administrative duties in addition to his current role in fund administration, compliance and legal.
KGS joined Nexus Venture Partners in 2010 from Kotak Mahindra Investments Ltd, where he was Senior Vice-President, Finance & Operations. He has held senior roles in accounting, treasury and various finance functions during his 14-year stint at the Kotak Group, including a five-year assignment to improve the operational and financial processes at Business Standard. Earlier, KGS worked with Ashok Leyland Finance Ltd, the VC said in a statement.
